Non-Starch Vegetables (high-water content):
Good with High Starch and High Protein foods, poor with everything else.

  • leeks
  • leafy greens
  • onions
  • peppers (all)
  • parsley, radishes
  • zucchini

  • artichokes
  • sea vegetables
  • dandelion greens
  • endive, okra
  • Swiss chard

High-Starch:
Good with Non starch Vegetables, poor with everything else.

  • Grains
  • pastas
  • rice
  • corn
  • potato (all)
  • turnip
  • squash
  • parsnip
  • beet
  • carrots
  • eggplant
  • avocado

Fruits:
Poor with everything else, best eaten by themselves.

  • Apple
  • apricot
  • banana
  • berries
  • cherry
  • date
  • lemon*
  • grapefruit*
  • melons (all)*
  • mango
  • nectarine
  • pineapple
  • papaya
  • peach
  • pear
  • plum
  • tomato*
  • fig
  • orange*
    * Citrus fruits, tomatoes and melons often do not mix well with other fruits. May best be eaten alone.

High-Protein (Concentrated):
Only good with Non Starch Vegetables, poor with everything else.
