Good News For Diabetics

Diabetes And Magnetics

Good news today for diabetics. A new study confirms that magnetic insoles can provide significant relief to diabetics who suffer from severe numbness and tingling in the feet. Ninety percent of the patients who wore the magnetic insoles around the clock experienced significant relief. Diabetic patients who attached small magnetized pads to their feet were able to diminish the foot pain and numbness that afflicts so many people who have diabetes. The small but well-controlled trial (American Journal of Pain Management, Jan. 1999) is one of the first rigorous studies to show the potential benefits of magnets, a hugely popular, but controversial, form of therapy.
